[Rivet] plotting bug

Hi,

I've digged into this a bit further, and the crucial bit is indeed the
trailing colon. It works fine with the trailing colon and breaks without
it. That colon specifies the default system directory. I had simply set
TEXMFCNF to our Rivet directory and that was wrong. Well, so I learned
something today.
