I contacted them mainly to be able to search for a given Spires key, and that they implemented after my email (as David mentioned). Now to get the Spires key from an Inspire record it seems like you have to look at the MarcXML output: http://inspirebeta.net/record/847552/export/xm Might be worth contacting them to find out whether that can be made available more easily, and more importantly whether that key is going to be assigned anymore once Spires goes out of production! Otherwise we should reconsider our ID scheme for Rivet 2.0. Frank
