Hi Andy, Thus spake Andy Buckley (andy.buckley at ed.ac.uk): > Are there any analyses to go in? The ATLAS track jet fragmentation study > is nearly ready, I think, so I am tempted to wait for that. how far away is "nearly ready" on real-world time scales? > There was a nice-looking CMS jet structure analysis shown at SM at LHC > which I would love to have, if we can get anyone to implement it. Can > you follow that up as "CMS contact", Hendrik? Looking at their note (no paper, so no numbers according to their policy) I'm not very optimistic. It says "No pileup corrections are applied. Constituents of the jet (i.e. subjets) are not corrected, and algorithmic procedures are done on uncorrected jet energies. As no official corrections are available for Cambridge-Aachen R = 0.8 jets, the corrections for anti-kT R = 0.5 jets are used, [...]" > I might book a train to Durham for a couple of days this month, if > that's ok, or perhaps several of us will be at Les Houches and could > spare a couple of days to do Rivet/YODA work? Feel free to come to Durham; I'm here. I will also go to Les Houches for the first part. Cheers, Hendrik -- The minimum number of planes one should own is one. The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of planes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of planes owned that would result in separation from your partner. -- Veluminati
