[Rivet] Rivet install problemHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chTue May 17 16:29:49 BST 2011
Hi riveters, I'm writing to the mailing list only, as I don't have a good advice for our suffering fellow. My first reaction when reading his mail was to point him to the Genser installation, but: [17:22] hoeth at lxplus439:~ $ . /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/MCGenerators/rivet/1.5.0/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/rivetenv.sh [17:22] hoeth at lxplus439:~ $ rivet --list-analyses rivet requires the 'rivet' Python module /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/HepMC/2.03.11/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/lib/libHepMC.so) [17:24] hoeth at lxplus439:~ $ . /afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/contrib/gcc/4.3/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt/setup.sh [17:24] hoeth at lxplus439:~ $ rivet --list-analyses Segmentation fault [17:24] hoeth at lxplus439:~ $ How is one supposed to use that thing? And are they serious about HepMC-2.03? Cheers, Hendrik -- The minimum number of planes one should own is one. The correct number is n+1, where n is the number of planes currently owned. This equation may also be re-written as s-1, where s is the number of planes owned that would result in separation from your partner. -- Veluminati
