[Rivet] My rivet installation: HELP!Andy Buckley andy.buckley at ed.ac.ukWed Feb 8 10:34:34 GMT 2012
Hi Francesco, Apologies for the delayed reply -- our mailing list queue got stuck so we suddenly got a week's worth of messages yesterday! This sounds like a strange error to me: SWIG 2.0.4 should certainly be new enough for this test to pass. Can you take a look in the config.log file and see if there is a more explicit hint to what is going wrong? If you can't work it out, please send us the file and we'll try to help. Cheers, Andy On 03/02/12 10:30, Francesco Tramontano wrote: > Dear authors, > I'm having problems with the installation > (ubuntu 10.04.3,python2.6,boost1.41,gsl-1.13) > I get the following error message: > > checking if /usr/bin/swig is compatible with the g++ compiler... no > configure: error: Can't build Python extension since /usr/bin/swig is > not compatible with g++.
