[Rivet] Conflict of rivet with latex

Hello,

I installed rivet-1.8.1 but am unable to create plots from .aida.
rivet-mkhtml -v reveals:

Ouch---my internal constants have been clobbered!---case 14

so I am thinking that the rivetenv.sh settings

export TEXMFHOME="${datarootdir}/Rivet/texmf:$TEXMFHOME"
export HOMETEXMF="${datarootdir}/Rivet/texmf:$HOMETEXMF"
export TEXMFCNF="${datarootdir}/Rivet/texmf/cnf:$TEXMFCNF"
export TEXINPUTS="${datarootdir}/Rivet/texmf/tex//:$TEXINPUTS"
export LATEXINPUTS="${datarootdir}/Rivet/texmf/tex//:$LATEXINPUTS"

are messing with my existing latex installation.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
