[Rivet] Running routine ATLAS_2016_I1419652Andy Buckley andy.buckley at cern.chTue Jul 24 13:21:12 BST 2018
Hi Shayma -- I don't know offhand, but I think it's given on / linked to the RivetForAtlas twiki page. In general, though, I strongly advise to use a newer Rivet version. The 2.4 series is several years old, and many bugs have been fixed since then. It's always a good idea to keep as close as possible to the current production release. I'm guessing it's not the latest, since otherwise this analysis would already be built-in... from the version control log it looks like it has been there since at least mid-2017. It's possible that this code requires features not available in the version that you're attempting to compile it with, hence the errors. > > I'm not sure if the source code is available anywhere on AFS, but you can get it from the Rivet source code tarballs. > > Hope that helps, > > Andy > > > > Dr Andy Buckley, Lecturer / Royal Society University Research Fellow > > Particle Physics Experiment Group, University of Glasgow > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > On Jul 20 2018, at 3:36 pm, Shayma Wahdan <shayma.wahdan at hotmail.com (mailto:shayma.wahdan at hotmail.com)> wrote: > > > > > > Dear Mr. Buckley, > > > > > > I am trying to compile the following routine ATLAS_2016_I1419652, since I am interested in running it over the same samples used by the original analysers. > > > > > > But I am getting many errors, could you please give me few instructions how can I compile any analysis exist in the source code. > > > https://rivet.hepforge.org/trac/browser/analyses/pluginATLAS/ATLAS_2016_I1419652.cc?desc=1 > > > > > > And if I can find the source code in lxplus to copy it to the machine I am using. > > > > > > > > > Best Regard, > > > Shayma > > > > > > > > > > > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
