Hello Andy,
I added Python 2.5 to my path variable. This did the trick. Now, I
can fully utilize the lxbatch system. I'll look into getting things
to work on SL5 later.
I found when compiling rivet for SL5 that I had to install GSL. Upon
compiling Sherpa, I recieved a bunch of complaints.
Things are starting to improve in the cern th group regarding
computing. So, I figured I'd try using lxbatch again.
I think people at Durham will be happy about that. I won't be using
the desktop system anymore. This week I was able to compile rivet and
sherpa and link them on the AFS system.
I never thought that would happen. I appreciate you help.
Cheers,
Terrance
